Santiago, te amo

Santiago, short and sweet but was truly amazing. The long flight was made better by the 787 experience and with lower altitude, cleaner humidified air, not even a hangover could stop me! Some 15 hours later we touch down in what looks reminiscent of the caribbean.

The flight was filled with lively conversation, chatting to my fellow travellers from Sweden and Portugal, both now living here, discussing plans for arrival. Getting restaurant recommendations, bars not to miss and must sees and dos, this really is a city to explore and fall in love with, you won’t be disappointed. Both offer different ideas, that both listen intently too and make note off, it looks that even if you’ve lived here a while, there’s many undiscovered favourites just around the corner.

The streets are busy and lively, the people friendly, the drinks and food amazing....especially the pisco sour. Please put this on your bucket list, it's a long flight but worth every minute.

Take your time and explore this amazing country, you will love it.
